Sketches

These are some sketches that I did a little while ago while working on ideas for a Mr. Beardsley book. I just need to iron out the storyline first before I do any finalized drawings. For these I used watercolor pencils and a fine point pen.

Bird Boy with Teenie Tiny Sheep (top), Mr. Beardsley (bottom). I made a plush character that sort of resembles the blue bird character for a show in Connecticut but he ended up looking grumpy (see below).  Maybe it’s because I didn’t give him a beak.

The Bearded Giant

Standing at 54 inches tall, this Mr. Beardsley seen below is the biggest one to date! His bearded disguise is removable, too!

Did Dinosaur Jr. Finally make his way to Dinosaur Jr?

Almost. The little plush dinosaur got to watch the band play at the Pitchfork Music Festival over the weekend and was totally blown away with some crazy guitar solos — but he has yet to make his way home. I will keep you updated about his journey to Western Massachusetts but until now, please enjoy some photos from the show:
